Does ‘Marvel Rivals’ have cross-save?

Marvel Rivals Cross Save: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Loki, Luna Snow, Rocket, and Storm can be seen

Marvel Rivals is a lot of fun, and if you have been playing, you may be looking to hop between PC and console. This could be because you are switching from your PC room to your living room and want to play on your TV, or because you are looking for a more hardcore experience when playing ranked. Does the game allow you to keep your progress as you transfer between those platforms?

Here is how the account system works in Marvel Rivals.

Does ‘Marvel Rivals’ have cross-save?

Unfortunately, Marvel Rivals breaks from tradition and doesn’t have cross-save. Therefore, any progress you make on one platform won’t carry over to another. The game does have crossplay, however, so you can play with friends or players on other platforms. You just can’t bring your unlocked cosmetics and items over.

This is definitely disappointing to see, as the game feels like it should have the feature. NetEase hasn’t said if they plan on adding it down the line, so we could see it implemented, especially if there is a lot of fan outcry for it.

Right now, though, if you do want to switch between platforms, you will have to rebuy any skins or items you have bought, as well as repurchase the battle pass and unlock everything again. This isn’t worth doing as progress to earn items is slow and requires checking in and playing consistently almost every day. The one upside is that battle passes don’t expire. Even still, only buy the battle pass and cosmetics on the account you plan to play on the most.
