Back to the ballroom! Dancing With the Stars returns with a new episode on Tuesday (Oct. 3).


The series launched its 32nd season on Sept. 26, with a star-studded cast that includes Tyson Beckford, Ariana Madix, Alyson Hannigan, Jamie Lynn Spears, Jason Mraz and more.


Alfonso Ribiero returns as host this season alongside new co-host Julianne Hough. Also returning: longtime judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough.

Who Is in the Dancing With the Stars Season 32 Cast


A total of 14 contestants including Mraz, Beckford, Madix, Hannigan, Spears, Xochitl Gomez, Harry Jowsey, Charity Lawson, Adrian Peterson, Lele Pons, Mauricio Umansky, Matt Walsh, Mira Sorvino and Barry Williams, will compete for the mirrorball trophy this season.


Walsh was eliminated during the premiere, which featured an opening dance number to Dua Lipa’s hit single “Levitating” choreographed by Luam, whose credits include Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé, Janelle Monae and Travis Scott.


The celebrity contestants and pros performed the cha cha, foxtrot, salsa, tango, jive and more during the premiere. The episode included the debut of the Lynn Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in honor of former DWTS judge, Lynn Goodman, who passed away in April.


For the season premiere, contestants danced to an eclectic playlist of songs including “Rock Your Body” by Justin Timberlake, “Yeah!” by Usher, “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” by P!nk and other dancing songs. Mraz earned a top score of 21 points after dancing to his own song, “I Feel Like Dancing.”


The singer landed one of the night’s highest scores coming in just below Lawson, whose tango wowed the judges and earned her 22 points, the top score of the night. Madix, who performed in a version of her Vanderpump Rules reunion dress, earned 21 points.


Tonight’s episode will celebrate Latin heritage in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The pros will perform an opening number to “DESPECHÁ,” by Rosalía, choreographed by pro dancers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov.


In celebration of “Latin Night,” contestants will salsa, samba, cha, cha and tango to songs from Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Rick Martin and other Latin recording artists. Lawson will perform the cha, cha to Martin’s “She Bangs,” alongside a new dance partner, Ezra Sosa, after her partner, Artem Ch igvintsev, tested positive for COVID on Tuesday.


Mraz will perform the rumba to “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás” by Andrea Bocelli featuring Jennifer Lopez. Madix will perform a samba to “Me Porto Bonito” by Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone; Spears will cha cha to Pitbull’s “Shake Senora” and Peterson will samba to “Taki Taki” by DJ Snake featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna and Cardi B.
