Made-in-Nigeria (MaIN) Festival to Hold Next Week in Lagos


The much talked about Made-in-Nigeria (MaIN) festival will take place at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, Lagos from Monday September 26 and end on Saturday October 1, 2016 with His Excellency, the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo GCON (SAN) leading the pack of dignitaries expected.


Main Festival is an international festival of ideas, innovations and opportunities that will bring the world to Nigeria to explore and engage the best it has to offer in five key sectors: Power & Infrastructure, Agriculture, Technology, Manufacturing, Sports & Entertainment.

Also billed to attend the event are the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki, His Excellency Dr. Ibikunle Amosun Ogun State Governor, Honourable Minister of Power, Works and Housing Mr. Babatunde Fashola, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, CBN Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, DG of the Budget Office of the Federation Mr. Ben Akabueze, Minister of Information & Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

Others are Senior Special Assistant to the Vice-President of Nigeria on trade Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment Mr. Okey Enelamah, Mr. Segun Agbaje CEO OF GT Bank Mr. Ronald Chagoury of the Chagoury Group, Mrs Ibidun Awosika Chairman First Bank, MD/CEO Bank of Industry Mr. Waheed Olagunju, Commissioner for Agriculture Ogun State Mrs Ronke Sokefun, Commissioner for Finance Lagos State Mr. Mustapha Akinwunmi, Senator Olorunnibe Mamora, Dr. Muiz Banire, Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, Don Jazzy, Ayeni Adekunle and a host of others.

The week-long event will end on Independence Day with the Supremacy Concert featuring the King of World Beats King Sunny Ade (KSA), Asa, 2Baba, Dbanj and Wizkid. DJs Jimmy Jatt and Cuppy on the wheels of steel.
